Mindfulness Matters Yoga

Is your child looking for a fun way to relax and get away from the stressors of daily life? Yoga for children has been shown to improve mental wellbeing, help improve attention span, and reduce stress and anxiety. It can also help boost self-esteem, focus and concentration, and even improve peer relationships. We are partnering with Buddha Belly Kid’s Yoga to provide children ages 5-9 the opportunity to experience a yoga class taught by trained instructors dedicated to nurturing children’s innate desire for movement and play.

This ten-week program is offered for a minimal cost of $10 for residents and $30 for non-residents (space permitting). Participants must be between the ages of 5-9 and meet family income guidelines to qualify for participation in this program. Yoga mats will be provided.

The next session date is TBD.
